The Northwest Express delivered one of their strongest outings of the season Friday night at the Spooner Civic Center, powering past the Minnesota Mullets in a convincing 6–1 victory. From start to finish, the Express controlled the pace, showcased depth scoring, and received a standout effort between the pipes.

Period 1:
Minnesota opened the scoring midway through the first period, but the Express answered quickly and never looked back. Just moments after falling behind, Northwest struck shorthanded when #18 Zachary Halling buried a setup from #5 Brandon Behnke, tying the game 1–1 and swinging momentum firmly in the home team’s direction.

Period 2:
The second period belonged entirely to the Express. #15 Caeleb Burch put Northwest ahead with a goal at 9:07, assisted by #6 Dalton Slama and #27 Eli Underhill. Moments later, #14 Nico Romita extended the lead to 3–1 with help from #7 Kyle LaMantia and #22 Jeff Schroeder.
