Northwest Express Dominate Isanti Outlaws in 13-0 Shutout Victory
Spooner, WI – February 7, 2025 – The Northwest Express delivered a commanding performance at the Spooner Civic Center on Friday night, overwhelming the Isanti Outlaws with a decisive 13-0 victory. The Express showcased their offensive depth and defensive strength, leaving no room for the Outlaws to gain momentum.

First Period: Strong Start for the Express
The Express wasted no time asserting their dominance, with Lundbohm opening the scoring at 7:00 while shorthanded, assisted by Liebold and Berge. Browning extended the lead late in the period, netting his 32nd goal of the season at 19:18, also while shorthanded, with assists from Lundbohm and Freshwater. The period saw multiple penalties from both sides, including a major penalty on Thorson for abuse of officials, resulting in his disqualification.

Second Period: Offensive Surge
Northwest Express turned up the heat in the second period, adding five more goals to their tally. Lundbohm struck again just over a minute in, with assists from Wolff and Berge. Browning followed up 16 seconds later with a shorthanded goal, his 33rd of the season, assisted by Lundbohm and Strachota. Menendez joined the scoring at 14:23, capitalizing on another shorthanded opportunity with help from Browning and Freshwater. Browning completed his hat trick at 19:03 off assists from Aguilera and Lynch, and just six seconds later, Aguilera found the back of the net, assisted by Winkler and Underhill. The period saw several penalties, but the Express maintained control despite the infractions.

Third Period: Unrelenting Pressure
The Express continued their onslaught in the third, netting six more goals. Browning tallied his fourth of the night at 5:45 while shorthanded, and then his fifth at 7:41 on the power play, assisted by Lundbohm and Underhill. Wolf joined the action at 8:14, scoring his 27th goal with assists from Schiffer and Themmes. Wolff added another power-play goal at 9:23, assisted by Liebold and McGrew.
