The Northwest Express erupted for a dominant second period, scoring all five of their goals en route to a 5-3 victory over the Isanti Outlaws.

First Period
The game began as a defensive battle, with neither team finding the back of the net. Both squads traded penalties, but solid goaltending from Eberle (Northwest Express) and Healey (Isanti Outlaws) kept the scoreboard clean.

Second Period
The Express seized control early in the second period, with Eli Underhill opening the scoring on a power play at 1:25, assisted by Preston Lundbohm and Connor Corcoran. The momentum continued with Caeleb Burch striking at 6:44, followed by a power-play goal from Harrison Browning at 9:00. Otis Berge and Preston Lundbohm added to the flurry of goals, with Lundbohm tallying the Express's third power-play goal of the period at 13:49. The Outlaws managed to stop the bleeding when Cole Jensen, assisted by Austin Westman and Carson Finch, scored at 12:19. However, the Express's offensive onslaught proved too much.

Third Period
The Outlaws pushed back in the final frame. Carsen Thorson scored on a power play at 5:46, with assists from Carson Finch and Cole Jensen, and Jensen netted his second goal of the game at 7:46. Despite outshooting the Express 16-10 in the third period, the Outlaws couldn't close the gap.
